K-Rod and Josh Fogg Return, while Escobar not throwing

K-Rod has been cleared by doctors and is in the clubhouse at Tradition Field according to Brian Costa of the Star Ledger. Although he will go back to wearing the goggles he wore during his Angel days, because his eyes are still too painful to wear contacts.

Josh Fogg will throw off a mound today after being sidelined with a tweaked side muscle. He has some catching up to do as all the other 5th starter competitors have pitched well.

Kelvim Escobar  has stopped picking up a baseball completely after feeling pain in his shoulder while throwing last week. At this time I think it would be smart not to expect him until at least June. I am still surprised at how much money the Mets guaranteed Escobar considering there could be a chance he never throws a pitch for them.
