1975- Purchased Skip Lockwood from Oakland A's

1978- Purchased Gil Flores from the Anaheim Angels

1979- Cubs' slugger Dave Kingman becomes the sixth player in major league history to hit three home runs in one game twice in one season. The Mets win the game, 6-4.

1993- Anthony Young's Major League record 27-game losing streak comes to an end. The Mets come from behind to beat the Marlins 4-3, after Young's error let them take the lead.

1995- Traded Bobby Bonilla and Jimmy Williams to the Orioles for Alex Ochoa and Damon Buford

2000- Traded Melvin Mora, Mike Kinkade, Lesli Brea, and Pat Gorman for Mike Bordick

Traded Paul Wilson and Jason Tyner to the Tampa Bay Rays for Bubba Trammell and Rick White

2003- Traded Graeme Lloyd to the Kansas City Royals for Jeremy Hill
