It is becoming tougher and tougher every night to take away positives from every game but I guess I will try.
- Pagan hit a triple to left center in the sixth inning, but scored on the play because Christian Guzman threw the ball away.
- Francoeur went 0-4 tonight but hit the ball hard every time up, he has really looked good swinging the bat since coming over.
- Pelfrey looked good tonight pitching 7 innings giving up 3 runs. His biggest mistake was a fastball right down the middle to Josh Willingham for a 2-run homerun.
On the bright side Fernando Tatis didn't hit into a double play tonight after entering the game for Luis Castillo. Castillo was ejected after not being able to catch a ball on a force play at second. He was ejected pretty quickly and right before Jerry got out there to talk to the umpire.
